Police arrested a Kona man at Julia Davis Park for firing a weapon near downtown Boise

On Saturday night, police arrested a person who illegally fired his weapon close to downtown Boise.

Officers with the Boise and Meridian Police Departments responded to stories of a capturing at 7:43 p.m. close to Julia Davis Park at West Fulton Road and South Capitol Boulevard, in response to a information launch from the Boise Police Division.
